Obie Trice and CSI have teamed up for an exclusive music video promoting and made entirely from clips of the episode “Poppin’ Tags” and showcasing Obie’s new single, “Snitch,” featuring Akon. The music video will be available for viewing on CBS.com, and the episode from which the video was cut will be broadcast Thursday, April 13.
I have found my favorite time to listen to Akon is right after dinner when I am winding down from my day. I pop a little Akon on and just relax. The more I think about it, the more I realize that I use music to help put me in a mood or to get me out of one. Akon is one of the artists that I listen to to help me relax.
One of my favorite Akon jams is Lonely. I thought this picture made Akon look like he was lonely. I really think that Akon is going to be one of the big names in music for a long time to come. I really like that he is not going over the top like some of today’s new artists…not mentioning any names. Akon is doing it right and I am down with that.

EA Sports is apparently going to use Akon, The Diplomats, and Dilated Peoples for the soundtrack of their next release of Fight Night, Round 3. According to SOHH, the new video game will feature 12 songs, all of which will be performed by rap artists. Pretty sweet.

Akon is going to hook up with other local artists according to Australia’s Daily News. Akon is scheduled to head to Africa next week to record a song with Ladysmith Black Mambazo. LBM has won a grammy, in case you don’t know or have not heard of them. LBM is big time and I have some of their music. This is a great step for Akon. Apparently, Akon is also heading to Africa to sign another artist according to the article. I really need to learn more about the music “business.” Is it about making music or making money? Didn’t Akon just put his first album out. I have to get to the bottom of this.
